Fees

Understanding the costs of psychological services is an important part of planning your therapy. I aim to provide clarity about fees, Medicare rebates, and private health insurance options, ensuring you have the information you need to access support in a way that works for you.

Standard fee

The fee for a single session is $250. This rate is competitive and aligns with quality care standards, sitting below the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee of $300 per session.

Medicare rebates

Medicare provides a rebate of $141.85 per session through the Better Access Initiative, reducing the out-of-pocket cost to a $108.15 gap payment per session. To access the rebate, you will need a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. Medicare allows up to 10 rebatable sessions per calendar year under this scheme.

Private health insurance

Once you have used your 10 Medicare-rebated sessions for the year - or if you prefer not to use Medicare - you may be eligible to claim a portion of the session fee through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. Contact your health insurer to confirm your eligibility and benefits.
